Enable carriers

Before you can start shipping, you’ll first have to enable your carriers. Once you do that, you’ll be able to select their respective shipping methods as you create your labels.

So, to get started, go to Settings and find the Carriers tab. If you’re just starting out, this area is where you’ll find which carriers are available in your country. However, if you want to send a parcel to an address in another country, use this dropdown to switch countries and manage the carriers for your destination. 

As you can see, a few carriers are already enabled by default. Others, you can enable with just one click, and then go ahead and start shipping using Sendcloud’s pre-negotiated rates. 

Do you have your own contract with a carrier? You can use that, too! Just go to My contracts, click Add, and find the carrier you want to add the contract for. Fill in the form, and you’re ready to go! Remember, though—using your own contract is a feature that’s only available on paid subscription plans.After you’ve enabled your carriers, you’ll be able to compare delivery costs to find the right shipping method for a specific package. Just go to the Price calculator and set the parameters you want. Keep in mind that only the carriers you’ve already enabled will appear in this list.
