Shipping defaults

If you want to apply certain values or settings to all your shipments, you’ll need to set up Shipping Defaults. If you decide you want to change some of these values for certain parcels, you can edit them manually or use Shipping Rules. But we’ll get to Shipping Rules later. 

First, to set up shipping defaults, go to Settings and find the Shipping Defaults tab. 

Here you can set up things like default weight, shipping method, and insurance. 

Shipping defaults are especially handy on the Essential or Small Shop plan, where your total allowed number of shipping rules is restricted.
