Sendcloud unlocks Royal Mail shipping – minus the paperwork

London, 10 July 2025 – Sendcloud, the all-in-one shipping platform, today announced the launch of Royal Mail rates within its platform, making shipping simpler than ever for UK merchants. For the first time, merchants will be able to activate Royal Mail’s services directly within a shipping platform, without contracts, manual registration or minimum volume requirements.

In just a few clicks, Sendcloud will enable merchants to activate popular Royal Mail services like Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 without the need for a direct agreement. With fast onboarding and built-in automation, the platform makes it easier for merchants to start shipping and grow their business. Shipping rates will start at just £2.25 (excl. VAT), giving merchants a fast, cost-effective, and scalable way to manage deliveries. 

Leveling the playing field for UK e-commerce

The plug-and-play solution is especially beneficial for small and mid-sized retailers, who often struggle to compete on delivery experience. In the UK, two in five shoppers (41.5%) abandon their cart when the delivery experience falls short, and only 9.8% say they would reorder without second-guessing if tracking is unclear. By providing direct access to shipping rates and automating key steps from checkout to returns, Sendcloud helps businesses deliver a seamless experience regardless of size.
