Event Privacy Policy

Sendcloud B.V. (“Sendcloud”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the participants of the Event. As such, this Privacy Policy has been written in order to allow you to understand Sendcloud’s policy regarding your privacy, as well as how your personal information will be handled when participating in the Event. This Privacy Policy will also provide you with information so that you are able to consent to the processing of your personal data in an explicit and informed manner, where appropriate.

Sendcloud, as identified at the top of this Privacy Policy, with its registered office at Stadhuisplein 10, 5611 EM Eindhoven, the Netherlands, is the data controller regarding all personal data processing carried out through the Event.

  1. Personal Data Collection

By participating in the Event, you consent to the collection of the following personal data:

  • Name and Surname

  • Business Email

  • Phone Number

  • Company and Title Information

We may also collect audio and/or video recordings during the Event. In such cases, we inform you in advance, allowing you to choose not to participate in the Event.

This information may typically be classified as “personal data”. This personal data will be used solely for the purposes described below.

  1. Purpose of Data Processing

Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

  • Event Participation: To manage and facilitate your participation in the Event (in accordance with your consent to participate in the Event).

  • Data Sharing with Co-hosting parties: Sendcloud may host this Event in collaboration with other parties, which will be disclosed to you beforehand. Your data will be shared with these parties for the purposes outlined above, in line with your consent to participate in the Event.

  • Marketing Purposes: To inform you about future events, webinars, and marketing materials related to products and services offered by Sendcloud (in accordance with your consent to receive such marketing communications which you can provide by filling out the consent form provided to you).

  1. Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis for processing your personal data is your explicit consent, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Your personal data will be retained by Sendcloud for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above, or until you withdraw your consent.

  1. Recipients of Personal Data

Your Personal Data may be shared with the following list of persons / entities:

  • Parties engaged in order to host the Event (as mentioned above) or to carry out processing activities related to marketing on our behalf (e.g., marketing service providers).

  • Persons authorised to perform technical maintenance (including electronic communications networks).

  • Persons authorised by Sendcloud to process personal data needed to carry out activities strictly related to the hosting the Event, who have undertaken an obligation of confidentiality (e.g., employees of Sendcloud).

  • Other companies within Sendcloud’s group.

  • Public entities, bodies or authorities to whom your Personal Data may be disclosed, in accordance with the applicable law or binding orders of those entities, bodies or authorities.

  1. International Data Transfers

If we transfer your Personal Data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data, in compliance with GDPR, such as through the use of Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful mechanisms.
