How nkm scaled from living-room packing to 2,000 parcels a day with Sendcloud
nkm offers regional natural cosmetics that put active ingredients at the center. What began as a passion project for science-based skincare is now one of the most sought-after natural cosmetics brands in Germany. With her community-driven company, founder Mareike has built a self-styled “nkm village” of more than 123,000 members.
CHALLENGE
10 hours a day, 20 parcels
In the beginning, Mareike spent ten hours a day packing parcels alone at home, with a modest result of around 20 parcels per day. A large share of that time went into manually typing in addresses, a frequently underestimated process.
SOLUTION
Shopify connected and shipping in minutes
A solution was found quickly. Within minutes, Shopify was connected, and after a data check the first labels came out of the printer. The chaos was cleared away fast, and Mareike’s day-to-day, at least when it came to logistics, became much easier.
As nkm grew, its logistics had to grow too, so Sendcloud now also simplifies and optimizes logistics at the subsidiary nkm Päckchen. Thanks to Pack & Go and shipping rules, large shipping volumes are processed efficiently.
